Threads challenge starts next Monday! [guide inside]

Reader,

Can you believe it? Next week, we're kicking off the August 30-Day Threads Challenge! I'm ecstatic to see what y'all create.

I've been getting messages asking "What exactly do I post?" and "How do I know what content type to use?" - so I put together the complete guide with everything you need.

Here's Your Complete Challenge Guide:

>> 30-Day Threads Challenge Guide <<

This guide includes:
Recommended posting schedule for all 30 days
Real examples from my account (and others) with links to actual threads
Content type prompts you can customize
UTM tracking setup (because we're measuring results, not just posting)
Daily execution strategy so you never feel lost
Success metrics to track your actual progress

Your Pre-Challenge To-Do List:

By Saturday night, make sure you:

  1. Watch this Youtube Video to get the Threads vibe.
  2. Pick your posting time - Consistency matters more than timing, but if you have Metricool or similar, check your best times. Mine are usually 7am PT/10am ET (early mornings and evenings).
  3. Gather your promotional content - You'll need 4 things to promote throughout the month OR you can focus on 1 offer. Here is an example:
    • Week 1: Your best blog post or free resource
    • Week 2: Lead magnet or email opt-in
    • Week 3: Podcast episode or valuable video
    • Week 4: Services page or booking link
  4. Set up UTM tracking - If you grabbed my free UTM training, set up your tracking template now. If not, grab it here.
  5. Read through the guide - Seriously, spend 20 minutes with it. The more familiar you are with the content types, the easier this will be.
  6. Plan your first promotional thread - This is your first strategic post driving traffic to your best resource. **See our Challenge Guide or a special tool to help you.**
  7. Set aside time to join our Thread Schedule Parties every Wednesday this month at 10am PT | 1pm ET.

Remember: Progress Over Perfection

Here's what I want you to know before we start:

You don't need perfect content. You need consistent, authentic content that shows your expertise.

You don't need thousands of followers. You need engaged followers who actually care about what you do.

You don't need to go viral. You need to build authority systematically, one thread at a time.

The challenge participants I've seen succeed the most are the ones who:

  • Show up every single day (even when they don't feel like it)
  • Engage authentically with their comments
  • Track what's working and do more of that
  • Don't overthink it - they just post and learn

Batch Bestie

SURPRISE - I’ve created an AI bot that knows everything in this guide. There’s a series of 11 questions so Batch Bestie can get to know you, then BB will batch weekly thread content from there based on our 30 day challenge.

One Last Thing:

Screenshot this image and post about the challenge on Threads! Tag me (@litchfieldmedia) and tell everyone what industry you're in and what you're most excited about.

The more people who know you're doing this, the more accountable you'll be. Plus, I love seeing everyone support each other.

Ready to build the kind of authority that actually converts?

Let's make August the month everything changes.

Talk soon,
Melissa

P.S. If you're feeling nervous, that's normal. Every single person who's built real authority online felt nervous when they started posting consistently. The difference is they did it anyway. You've got this.

P.P.S. Seriously, read the guide. It's going to save you so much time and overthinking. I basically gave you 30 days of content ideas with real examples from threads that actually performed. Use it!

Reader, You know that feeling when you write something that just hits and suddenly everyone's sharing it? Here's the thing - I've been feeling like my threads were getting way too serious lately. Between the political climate and...
