How to create conversion-ready video ads

Hey Reader,

The best video ads to create for conversions are UGC videos…

What is UGC? UGC = User-Generated Content

UGC is any type of content, in this case, videos, that have been posted by your consumers, social media influencers, or industry-adjacent partners.

It’s not you making content about your business or your brand. It’s others speaking on your behalf and making you look amazing.

And PS I’ve seen some top thought leaders use this method on TikTok for their paid traffic strategy (ie. Russel Brunson & Sophia Amoruso).

But, before you take delivery of new content, here’s what kinds of UGC video ads convert the best:

#1 Success Story

Everybody loves a glow-up. The most successful ad type is a success story featuring a common pain point or obstacle that was solved with the target product or service.

#2 BTS

The next most successful UGC video ad is an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the process of achieving the desired result or transformation with the service or product. (You’ve probably seen those ads that promise to “pull back the curtain” or give an “over-the-shoulder view.” Both would be BTS-styled UGC ads.)

Don’t Forget

Once you have your concept, don’t forget these 3 MUST-HAVE elements to really knock it out of the park:

  • A strong hook in the first 3-5 seconds
  • Great lighting
  • Some transitions and interesting angles
  • Sound effects or a trending non-copyrighted sound

How does your ad concept and creative stack up?! Hit reply to let me know what creative concepts you maybe working on.

Cheers,

Ulta Picks For a Scottsdale Bachelorette đź’Ť

This coming week I'm headout to Scottsdale Arizona for my sister's bachelorette party! The Airbnb we are staying at has a pool and we are planning to have a pool day so I picked up a few items from Ulta that I can wait to try. The Dibs body stick I plan on putting on my collar bone and shoulders for an all over shimmer. The Kopari Golden Sunglaze Sheer Body Mist is a Sunscreen!!! A big selling point for me was SPF 50 and the guava scent - smells so freakin good. I plan on using this on my face and neck since there's no white cast and it leaves a glow.

The two links below take you to each products website (non-affilate links; just wanted to share them with y'all).

Here's the thing - I've been feeling like my threads were getting way too serious lately. Between the political climate and...
